Hi Church,

Thank you for your prayers and support. It is a long journey to recover from such a seemingly insignificant fall. On Oct. 5, 21 I stumbled in the dark and hit a wooden plate form. The doctors finally have done all the necessary tests and have started treatment. March 30, 2022 I had a rotator cuff surgery to restore 3 tares in the left shoulder. A week after I fell, we discovered a broken tooth. WOW! I am very excited about what God is already doing. It is difficult to take it easy and stay away from the church activities. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.

The process is still in motion to find a mobile modular building for the school. We are on track to have the building moved on site in late July or early August. That is an estimate, which means we don’t know what God’s timing is, except for this, He has perfect timing. We also benefit from God’s timing because we learn patience, we also grow in our faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Heb. 11:6

Spring has lots of special times, the greatest of these is the celebration of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. After Easter our church family has a special and fun event to honor all the women and especially the mom’s on Mother’s Day weekend. It is especially fun on Friday night Mother Daughter Banquet. Friday the 6th we invite anyone who is a daughter and everyone who is a Mom to join us for an evening of good food, even better fellowship and ministry. The men and young men of the church will do the cooking and serving. The Women’s ministry will plan the program. Please mark your calendar, sign up at the Welcome Center and join us for a special evening.

Koinonia is the Greek work for fellowship. Fellowship is a necessity in today’s world. One of Satan’s methods of attacking is to isolate us from those who can offer support, wisdom and experience to all kinds of events and challenges in our lives. Koinonia is fellowship designed by God the Father, to make our lives a partnership with The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Not just with Him, but with one another, when we support each other in good times and especially in troubled times, we become Jesus with flesh on. Sometimes people need a gentle and listening ear, sometimes we need someone to walk with us for a while, making sure we don’t stray from God’s way and will, participating in our lives and especially making sure we don’t face troubles and temptations alone. In Fellowship (koinonia) we help one another hear from God, and make sure we talk and communicate with God. (Pray with and for one another). And especially have communion with God and one another. Communion is not just the sharing of the Lord’s Supper; it is so much more. It is the sharing of care, closeness, unity. We are all on the same team if we have believed in Jesus Christ and are following Him and His ways. We will never be perfect, but we can be forgiven, restored and strengthened by staying connected and supportive of one another.

I encourage and challenge you to not take offenses but stay connected to Christ and one another in genuine Koinonia
